The PMSLIC declared dividend for Pennsylvania and Delaware equates to approximately 10% and 5% of the 2012 premium respectively — the same as last year. This is the 7th year in a row that they have declared a dividend, bringing the total declared dividend to $44 million. These dividends attest to PMSLIC insureds’ attention to quality care and efforts to operate efficiently and the company’s financial strength. The dividend will be returned in the form of a premium credit with eligible policyholders’ second quarter 2013 renewal statements.
