On April 27, the Pennsylvania Department of Health issued guidance on ambulatory surgical facilities’ responses to COVID-19. On May 23, this guidance was updated.
The guidance covers emergency preparedness, elective surgeries and procedures, suspension of services and reporting, visitor policies, alternative use of space, COVID-19 laboratory testing, and equipment and supplies.
