The PA Free Quitline is now offering up to 8 weeks of FREE nicotine patches and FREE cessation counseling to smokers in Pennsylvania. Smokers who are ready to quit should call: 1-800-QUIT-NOW. Smokers who use quit aids, like nicotine patches and counseling, are twice as likely to quit for good. Since 2010, the Quitline has helped over 15,000 Philadelphians make a quit attempt. Up to one-third of these participants were smoke-free 6 months after receiving Quitline services. Current smokers who are 18 years of age or older and who live in Pennsylvania are eligible.
