The Philadelphia Medical Reserve Corps will be holding a new volunteer orientation on December 7: “Facts on Vax”. The orientation training will provide an overview of the MRC and will have a special focus on vaccine-preventable disease and Philadelphia’s response to recent vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks. In addition, volunteers will learn about public health preparedness, mass medication dispensing, and personal preparedness. CEUs will be available for physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and pharmacists at no cost.
