March 19: Gov. Wolf Orders Non-Life-Sustaining Businesses to Close

Governor Tom Wolf ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations as of 8 p.m., March 19, to slow the spread of Coronavirus or COVID-19. Enforcement actions by the state will begin on Monday, March 23, at 8:00 a.m.

Offices of physicians are considered “life-sustaining,” though elective procedures are not permitted during this time.
