The 2022 Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) National Conference, titled Cincuenta Años de Comunidad (Fifty Years of Community): Fostering Service, Health Equity, and Leadership, recognizing the anniversary of the founding of LMSA, will be held in Philadelphia in March of 2022. This is an outstanding opportunity to showcase Philadelphia’s world class health care institutions and medical schools.
With over 140 medical school chapters across the country, LMSA’s unrelenting work over the past half century has supported Latinx student matriculation to medical schools and residency programs as well as the creation of scholarship opportunities for medical and pre-medical students. The LMSA National Conference will celebrate these and many other accomplishments so that medical students can continue to inspire and propel the next generation of Latinx physicians.
The Philadelphia County Medical Society (PCMS) would like to assist in supporting the 2022 LMSA National Conference with a special fundraising initiative to our members.
To facilitate supporting our Latinx health community, PCMS is challenging all physicians that live or work in the Philadelphia region to please consider making a donation of $500 to help defray the costs of LMSA students attending the National Conference in March of 2022. All proceeds are tax deductible and will be collected on the PCMS secure encrypted website.
Any and all support is greatly appreciated. To make a donation to support the LMSA Philadelphia National Conference, please fill out the form below. 100% of these donations will directly support the LMSA National Conference by subsidizing the cost of medical students attending.
Thanks in advance for your support and please share this challenge with your physician colleagues! If you would prefer to send a check or have any questions or comments, please contact us at [email protected].
