The 5th Annual Jefferson Liver Disease Symposium will feature a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment and management of patients with a potpourri of liver diseases presenting in the office of the gastrointestinal specialist, primary care practitioner, internist, and mid-level practitioner. To provide a broad coverage of topics of interest, educational sessions during the conference will be organized into the following categories: hepatitis disorders, miscellaneous liver disorders infections in hospitalized cirrhotics and liver transplant-related topics. This year’s keynote lecture by Jasmohan S. Bajaj, MD from VCU School of Medicine will address Infections in Hospitalized Cirrhotics. Continuing education credits will be offered for physicians (AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™) and Continuing Nursing Education contact hours.
